Real rights are acquired and transmitted by inscription in the land register, and the date of registration is the date on which the real right or the legal estate in the property is acquired. However, anyone who acquires a property by inheritance, by expropriation or by judgment is owner before the inscription but the acquisition produces effects only after the inscription. Consequently, any real estate transaction must be filed before the applicable register.
