In addition to the previous decision to apply VAT on the official fees
for filing trademarks in Egypt, a ministerial decree No.179 dated
September 4, 2019 (the “Decree”) has been issued providing the increase
in the official fees of trademark registration in Egypt.
Although, the initial date of implementation of the Decree was intended
to be on September 5, 2019, however it has not been executed yet.
As soon as the Decree will enter in force, we will update our fees for Egypt and share it with you.
In the meantime, we remain at your disposal for assistance regarding any
