We are unfortunate to announce that due to the explosion of Beirut seaport, the Trademarks Office of the Ministry of Economy and Trade, was severely damaged.
Sadly, the explosion that struck the capital, Beirut, was of such magnitude that it caused heavy losses, both material and human. The human losses amounted to 178 dead, and more than three thousand 3000 wounded, in addition to the tremendous material losses that affected almost all of Beirut and all surrounding areas and neighboring buildings, including the Ministry of Economy and Trade, which was severely cracked, resulting in damage to the building's external facade and all internal equipment, which necessitates closing the building to remove the wreckage and carrying out the necessary repairs to rehabilitate the building.
Hence, due to the destruction and the damages to the building from inside and outside, the Ministry of Economy and Trade will be closed down for the current period until further notice.
Thus, in the meantime and until the resumption of the ministry's work, all deadlines will be suspended.
